Worship Indoor Weekly at 8:00 & 10:30 am
We Are Now Worshipping in Our Beautiful Sanctuary
Based on CDC guidelines, Dane County’s latest COVID and vaccination rates, and recommendations from the Wisconsin Council of Churches, we feel the risk of contracting or spreading COVID during worship in the Sanctuary is now greatly reduced. But we are asking everyone to wear masks in church, regardless of their vaccination status. We hope this will be a short-term change, but we'd rather error on the side of caution to keep everyone safe.
Care for One Another
We know that moving worship into the Sanctuary will affect each of you differently. You may feel joy, fear, disappointment, concern or excitement depending on your personal health, family concerns and whether you’ve been attending our outdoor services. COVID may be with us for months to come, so we’ll continue to care and pray for one another during this big step forward.
Attending Indoor Services
Out of an abundance of caution, we will continue these safer habits in worship:
• We will continue the use of individual prefilled communion cups (grape juice with regular bread or gluten-free bread)
• We will encourage physical distancing
• We will practice alternative ways of passing the peace, collecting our offerings and tracking attendance at worship
• Please wear a mask regardless of your vaccination status
• Masks and hand sanitizer will be available
Mask or No Mask in Worship?
• If you’re fully vaccinated, masks are optional
• If you’re not fully vaccinated or you are vulnerable in any way to the effects of COVID, masks are recommended
Can't Join Us In Person?
We hope you can join us in person for worship, but if you can’t, we’ll continue offering you other options for enjoying our services: live Zoom, recorded Zoom, telephone and DVD.
Recordings of Zoom Worship will be available online within a few days after the services. You will find worship on our Home Page, YouTube; and on our Facebook Page.

Worship At the
Worship is at the center of what we do as a community of faith. We gather regularly in worship to give thanks to our eternal God who is constantly revealed to us through Holy Scripture and in our daily lives as Creator and Loving Parent of everything there was, is and will be; as Incarnated Word and Risen Savior in Jesus of Nazareth; and as a Constant Presence, Advocate and Comforter in the Holy Spirit.
Sundays at Lake Edge we gather in worship at 8:00 and 10:30 am. ( Fall & winter, beginning after Labor Day), and at 9:30 am (Summer months beginning near the end of May). Sunday worship is God centered, grace-filled and visitor-friendly, as well as vibrant, inspiring, challenging, musical and fun! Worship includes Children's Word by the pastor preaching. Sunday hospitality includes time for coffee, pastries and fellowship before and after each experience of worship.
There are many ways to be involved in opportunities that enhance worship at LELC including participating in one of our musical groups, volunteering as a worship assistant, and preparing our worship space with ecclesiastic art and seasonal decorations.
All Are Welcome at Holy Communion
Holy Communion at Lake Edge is celebrated each Sunday, and is a sacramental sign of God's presence, power, love and grace in our midst through the death and resurrection of Jesus the Christ. We believe it is the Lord's table and not a Lutheran table, so all are welcome! We bless infants and commune children with the permission of their parents.
