Worship Outdoor & Zoom
Outdoors Weekly at 9:30 am
We’re excited to return to our usual summer worship schedule with one service at 9:30 am. The new thing this summer—due to COVID—is that the services will be held outdoors in the church parking lot until we feel it's safe to worship in the sanctuary.
The “summer” schedule will run from **May 2 to September 5 at 9:30 am.** **You no longer need to reserve a spot for the services**. Just come as you are to praise God! And for your convenience, the restrooms will be open on the first floor of the church before and after the outdoor services.
Attending Outdoor Services
We'll provide bulletins and communion packets (grape juice and gluten-free wafers) for everyone at outdoor worship. To worship safely in person outside during the COVID-19 pandemic, please remember to:
* Bring your own chair (chairs will be available if you need one)
* Park in the middle or south end of the parking lot
* Wear a mask at all times, even if you’re fully vaccinated
* Stay physically distanced
In the event of rain, we will cancel the outdoor service and instead share it live on Zoom at 9:30 am. (See the link below.)

Summer Worship Schedule
Worship at 9:30 am May 2 through Labor Day
We worship in one combined service during the summer months through Labor Day. Due to COVID-19, we are worshiping outdoors in lawn chairs (or cars) in the church parking lot this summer. To join outdoor worship at 9:30 on Sunday mornings, just bring your lawn chair and a mask (until guidelines change) and meet in the church parking lot. We look forward to worshipping together!
Worship At the
Worship is at the center of what we do as a community of faith. We gather regularly in worship to give thanks to our eternal God who is constantly revealed to us through Holy Scripture and in our daily lives as Creator and Loving Parent of everything there was, is and will be; as Incarnated Word and Risen Savior in Jesus of Nazareth; and as a Constant Presence, Advocate and Comforter in the Holy Spirit.
Sundays at Lake Edge we gather in worship at 8:00 and 10:30 am. ( Fall & winter, beginning after Labor Day), and at 9:30 am (Summer months beginning near the end of May). Sunday worship is God centered, grace-filled and visitor-friendly, as well as vibrant, inspiring, challenging, musical and fun! Worship includes Children's Word by the pastor preaching. Sunday hospitality includes time for coffee, pastries and fellowship before and after each experience of worship.
There are many ways to be involved in opportunities that enhance worship at LELC including participating in one of our musical groups, volunteering as a worship assistant, and preparing our worship space with ecclesiastic art and seasonal decorations.
All Are Welcome at Holy Communion
Holy Communion at Lake Edge is celebrated each Sunday, and is a sacramental sign of God's presence, power, love and grace in our midst through the death and resurrection of Jesus the Christ. We believe it is the Lord's table and not a Lutheran table, so all are welcome! We bless infants and commune children with the permission of their parents.
